Everyday adventures are made possible thanks to our incredible team of adult volunteers. They support Scouts in many ways, from working directly with young people and helping manage local community groups to serving as charity Trustees.
We love helping our volunteers make the most of their time at Scouts by offering exciting adventures, training, fun, and friendships.
Our popular training programs ensure that adults gain as much from Scouts as the young people do. We focus on what you want to achieve through volunteering and respect your available time. Over 90% of Scout volunteers feel that their skills and experiences have been valuable both at work and in their personal lives.

Current Volunteer Opportunities
We are actively looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our friendly team. We currently have several rewarding roles available:
- Secretary / Trustee Admin: Help us stay organised by taking minutes and assisting with light administration.
- Section Team Members: Each of our sections needs helpers and assistants to support the leaders during weekly sessions.
- Brand New Squirrels Section (Launching September)! We have two fantastic new leaders ready to go, and now we need section team members to assist them in running this exciting new group for 4 to 5-year-olds.
- Leadership Team: If you feel brave enough to take on a bigger role, help guide the group's future direction!
