Day of Air Rifles and 60+ Scouts
6th October 2025
On Saturday 4th Oct, I had the Pleasure of Instructing 1st Bowdens Scout Group at Sir JLC. From Beavers up to Young Leaders and a couple of Adults, How to safely shoot Air Rifles. They were amazing Some found it easier than others and some with a little help improved with their 2nd effort. They had some great characters amongst them. I hope to get to instruct you all again. 1st Bowdens GLV you have a great bunch of YP and a great leadership team. You all made me feel part of the group for the day.
The things that they come out with

On Camp with our group Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. and another local Groups Scouts. we mixed the groups into 3 teams and sent them of for the days Activities. They have Shooting, Archery and Climbing for the 1st 3 activities of the weekend. the first group to do shooting siting listening to me explain the rules of the range, when one YP pipes up is this archery.
